The listing

  1. A rate on every listing

    $215–$295/hr

Every posting contains a stated hourly rate or rate band.

  2. Who you are

    Democratic group

Democratic group, corporate medical group, staffing agency, hospital-employed. An admin assigns the badge. Currently only open to democractic groups.

  3. Price in multiple rates

Partner track, after two yearsnot stated

W-2 days, 1099 weekend nights, a partner tier that pays based on productivity. Lines may be unpriced as long as another carries a rate.

  4. One comparison

    ≈ $225–$246 1099-equivalent

All rates on the map are compared to a 1099-equivalent: payroll tax, benefits and sign-on resolved per hour.

How it works

  1. Ask for access.

A person reads your request and verifies you as an employer. The invitation arrives by email and opens your account in one step.

  2. Post the listing.

Facilities first, then the rates under each: W-2, 1099 or K-1, hours, benefits, who pays malpractice. Live for 60 days, renewable any time. Free.

  3. Reviewed, then posted.

A reviewer approves it and it appears at its facilities on the map.

  4. A physician asks to be introduced.

They save your listing or request contact. When you accept, a relay address lands in your inbox.

Read when it counts

Physicians open the map because they are deciding something about where they work and how they are paid.

  • Checking whether they are underpaid.

The most common reason a physician opens the map is to test their own rate against the market. A listing beside that figure is read by someone already asking whether to change jobs.

  • Shopping locums and travel shifts.

Physicians who pick up shifts compare sites and regions by the hour. A rate stated up front is the best advertisement.

  • Weighing an offer in hand.

A market being considered and a contract open in another tab. A listing shows up when physicians are deciding on the competition.

FAQ

What does it cost?

Listing is free. Nothing on the board is sponsored or ranked by payment. A listing appears where its facilities are in the reader’s own view of the map.

Who can list?

Currently open to physician-owned democratic groups. Accounts are opened by invitation.

Who decides my employer type?

An admin, based on what you tell us and what your site says. You claim a type on the request form. If you think yours is wrong, write to info@moonlighterjobs.com.

What counts as a democratic group here?

Physician-owned, local, emergency medicine, with equity genuinely reachable by the physicians who work there. National partnerships do not qualify. When a case is unclear, the more conservative badge is assigned.

Will I see what physicians near my hospital make?

No. A verified physician who reports their own rate sees an area estimate beside your listing. You see your listing in full and no estimate.

How do physicians reach me?

A physician can save your listing privately or request contact. A request carries their name, board status, how many years out of residency they are and a short message; your dashboard shows the structured fields and you accept or decline. When you accept, a relay address that reaches them arrives in your inbox with their name and message as the first message. An unanswered request lapses after 14 days.

How long does a listing run and can I edit it?

A listing expires 60 days after being published. You can renew from your dashboard at any time to extend the window for free. Reminder emails are sent before it expires. Marking a listing filled closes it.

What happens after I request access?

A person reads the request, verifies you as an employer, and sends an invitation to the email you gave. The link sets your password and opens your account in one step. info@moonlighterjobs.com reaches a person.
